What would Thornton look like if we don't stop this road?
We have recently heard reports that Highways England is considering an above ground section of its proposed road scheme from the Brooms Cross road area.
How long would this elevated section be?
Would it continue across Lydiate Lane and Edge Lane before dropping down onto Rimrose Valley?
Or, would these lanes be elevated to go over what would effectively be an extension of the motorway from Switch Island, albeit with a lower speed limit?
What is the future of the Buckley Hill football pitches and the former PlayFootball site, now owned and run by Liverpool County FA?
What would Thornton look and sound like if Highways England get their way?
