Following on from our recent demonstration in Manchester, we've written to National Highways' Regional Delivery Director, Stewart Jones, who came out to meet us on the day.
It's been a long time since we corresponded with National Highways and there have been many changes in personnel since the project began.
The demonstration offers a fresh opportunity to engage with the organisation and to explore whether those working on the scheme are able to contemplate that they are attempting to deliver the wrong solution, in the wrong location, at the wrong time.
We can but try...
We also felt that it was important to make it completely clear what our school children were asking for in their letters and pictures.
