Protest against Highways England

Following notification of Highways England's letters and subsequent meetings to discuss the impact of the proposed road on people's homes, members of the Campaign Team will be gathering at the SING Centre to:

1. Remind Highways England of our opposition to the road 2. Show our support for any residents attending the meeting

Given the location of the meeting, we do not need huge numbers, but we know that people have a desire to express their opposition, so you are more than welcome to come along! We do not want to block access to the SING Centre and need to ensure that entrances and pavements remain clear. Please help us to gauge the level of interest/numbers by responding to the RSVP for this event.

Please note that the end time for this gathering may change - it will be a collective decision by those in attendance on the day.

IMPORTANT: Our campaign is peaceful and respectful to others at all times and we want our protests to be family-friendly. This includes respecting any representatives from Highways England who may be present. We will be notifying the police of our intention to gather. You are therefore reminded that any behaviour not in line with the above is at your own risk.
